Dates and Times

All the Open Studios are open on these dates so don't forget to put it in your calendar!

1. 11am-5pm Saturday 13th June

2. 11am-5pm Sunday 14th June

3. 11am-5pm Saturday 20th June

4. 11am-5pm Sunday 21st June

After you've completed your registration form, you'll be sent these to complete as well :

• Access Grading form - so all artists can tell us about wheelchair accessibility, whether Assistance Dogs are welcome in the studio and if there's a Blue Badge parking spot nearby. All to help visitors with planning their visits.

• Equality & Diversity Monitoring form - so we can find out who's accessing our programme.

Once you’ve completed these, you’ll be fully registered!

February

At the end of February you should start to receive emails from us about:

• the Payback Scheme (Open Studios artists only)

• sharing a studio space with another artist, if you indicated that on your registration form. Locations need to be finalised by March in order for the directory to be designed.

March

In March you should start to receive emails from us about:

• submissions for the Site Exhibition (Open Studios artists only) - please start to consider what piece you would like to submit for this exhibition as well as price, measurements and hanging details.

• Open Studios socials

• Skill share sessions

April

In April :

• You’ll be emailed an artist proof of the directory, where you’ll have a week to check your information on the proof, and let us know if there are any changes to be made.

• The directories go to print at Tewkesbury Printers!

• You’ll need to order your Open Studios and Event signs by mid-May - here’s some advance information if you’d like to start thinking about signage sooner.

• We’ll let you know when the printed directories are ready to be collected and spread across the district

April & June

April/June : Distribution of your Directories

You will take at least 50 Open Studio directories to give out to contacts and find good locations for them.

We'd like all artists to be proactive with where and how you share the directories, because it will attract local visitors to your studio but also benefit all artists in Site Festival. For example, adding a post-it note or label to your relevant page, and leaving in the local shop!

June : after Site Festival

• Look out for the Closing/After party at SVA to celebrate the last day of Open Studios!

• If you’re an Open Studios artist you’ll need to collect your work from the Site Exhibition

In the mean time

• If you need logos or artwork for posters and press before April, email Kazz at kazz@sva.org.uk.

• Feel free to share the films and social media posts previous years to use in your social media or emails (make sure to tag us and credit the artist)
