We are working with lots of different artists and partner organisations and there maybe a space for you in a mill building, empty shop or another artist's studio. You can register for Open Studios 2019 and insert 'TBA' in the address section.

Christmas Open Studios

If you sign up to Open Studios in May then you will also be offered the opportunity to be publicised in the Christmas Open Studios event in December 2019.  This is now a regular feature of Site Festival's Open Studios and is a golden opportunity to sell work for the Christmas period.

New Artists Directory website for Open Studio artists

By participating in Open Studios you will also be an SVA Member and your work will be publicised on our new artists directory website. throughout the year.

Are you planning to open a group studio?

Lots of artists choose to show their work together in a group Open Studio in one location which can attract more visitors. In order to get a group discount all the participating artists will each complete their own Group Open Studios Registration form. Each artist will get an individual image, descriptive text, contact details etc. in the printed and online Open Studios directory and on our artists membership pages.

If there are more than two artists taking part in a group Open Studio this will be promoted as an Open Studio Hub with an image of the venue in the directory.

Open Studio Hubs

Over the last few years we have been promoting groups of artists who are opening their studios together in one place as Open studio Hubs. We hope that Open Studios 2019 will be as exciting with lots more artistic collaborations and a greater focus on Open Studio hubs in the area.

If you are working in a group studio and would like to talk to us about being an Open Studios Hub then email site@sva.org.uk
