South Korean arts group The Strangers will present a location based art project Tamara again for Site Festival. The project will showcase an exciting combination of an adventurous story, exploration of a space and interactive mobile technology around Stratford Park.

Lansdown Hall & Gallery is a much-valued community space for local artists to show their work. In support of the Gallery, the creative people of Stroud have submitted postcard-sized original works for auction, as a fundraiser for improvements to the building and facilities.

After the successful Red Thread Exhibition in Stroud last year, portrait photographer Emilie Sandy and Saori weaver Erna Janine continue to expand their portfolio of collaborative works with this new exhibition exploring the concept of the Inner Child through storytelling, textiles and photography. This work was partly co-created by the public of Stroud during the ‘We Are Community - Are We’ project at SVA in February 2022.

Rider Shafique is a a lyricist, poet, MC and recording artist from Gloucester; a round the clock artist, creating visual & performance art to educate & inspire for his project I-DENTITY.

Working with Khali Ackford and Jamell Ackford, Rider Shafique is now developing a safe creative space at the Trinity Centre in Bristol, that encourages people of African, Caribbean and Asian heritage to explore their identities.

Visit Stroud Pottery to see the spacious studios, garden and artists studio spaces, where they offer a supportive space for local emerging artists of all ages to develop their practice.

Eight artists bring their varied practices to an outside setting where objects and structures jostle together propagating ideas amongst the greenery.

Come and explore the garden with specially created artworks and meet some of the artists in situ.

Take a look at the professional, well-designed space for Etching, Lithography, Fabric and Paper Screenprint, Monoprint and Photopolymer grauve. There will also be printmaking demonstrations throughout the 2 weekends in a diverse range of printmaking techniques.

The Open Studios 2022 Taster Exhibition at Stroud Brewery offers visitors a great opportunity to see one piece of work by each of the Open Studio artists so you can plan your studio visits over the two weekends.

The Stroud Artists Cooperative (SAC) members’ will be exhibiting their work as part of our summer visual arts festival – we aim to show a really exciting and wide ranging selection of art as possible to engage, encourage and entertain.

Over 200 fabulous sculptures beautifully placed within the magnificent 17th Century gardens at Miserden, near Stroud, Gloucestershire.
