Resound Radio was launched in April 2017 for the Site Festival with a programme of live to air events and audio lounge recordings. The Resound Audio Lounge at the Line Gallery in John Street was open with a programme of performative artworks, spoken word and sonic interventions.

2016 Festival Programme

The Site 2016 Programme focused on presenting work by artists and musicians working with moving image in the Brunel Goods Shed a raw industrial heritage building in Stroud. The festival launched it’s film programme on Saturday 2nd April with Pilgrimage from Scattered Points a film by Luke Fowler, Turner Prize nominee (2012) and Jarman Award winner (2008). Luke Fowler performed in the Goods Shed at the launch along with fellow artist Richard Youngs. The single screen artists film programme continued into the festival month with films by Andrew Kotting, Joe Magee and Simon Munnery.

SVA and Good on Paper presented films screened with live music scores each Friday night featuring Eraserhead with live soundtrack from Sheena, Turksib with live soundtrack from Bronnt Industries Kapital, Sunrise with live soundtrack from Heliopause and Will Scobie, Fantastic Planet with live soundtrack from Asteroid Deluxe.

The Line Gallery at SVA presented Remembering Jelly, an exhibition of new work by Joe Magee, an award winning artist filmmaker.

Comedy came to the Site Festival with a festival highlight in the form with Simon Munnery’s Fylm School and very special guest, Nina Conti, an award-winning comedian, groundbreaking ventriloquist and acclaimed filmmaker for Jonny Fluffy Punk’s Penny Gaff in the Goods Shed on Saturday 23rd April.
